I absolutely love The Stables at Gladstone Park. It’s got this lovely, rustic charm that makes you feel right at home the minute you walk in. The place has a really quaint, down-to-earth vibe in a peaceful setting that’s perfect after a walk in the park (especially with your dog in tow — yes, it’s dog friendly!). The food is where it really shines. Everything is freshly cooked onsite and tastes like proper home cooking — full of flavour and made with care. The bread is baked fresh and it’s so good I could honestly eat a loaf on its own. And the shortbread… I’m genuinely obsessed. Buttery, crumbly, and perfect with a cup of their seriously good coffee. The staff are fantastic — super friendly and always up for a chat. They really make the place feel welcoming. You do need to book ahead if you want food, but it’s absolutely worth planning for. Whether you’re popping in for a quiet coffee, a bite to eat, or just a treat after a stroll, The Stables is one of those places you’ll keep coming back to
There's almost a peaceful, eden-like, quality to having a treat in this cafe. One of the few places in London with bakes that are more than worth the price you pay for them. A must visit for Brent residents!
Lovely little cafe in the old stables of the now defunct Dollis Hill house. Indoor and outdoor seating with coffee, yummy cakes and snacks etc. Friendly staff and clearly popular with the loyal locals. Handy wall rings for tieing up the dog!
Very cool cafe hidden in a historic stable on the edge of Gladstone park in Dollis Hill. A small menu of delicious high quality breakfast and lunch options. Also a great selection of cakes, good coffee and wonderful service. I'm planning on being a regular.
The owners and staff in this cute cafe could not have been more helpful to our party yesterday. They bent over backwards to help us find a comfortable spot for our elderly relatives who enjoyed a couple of precious hours catching up after 18 years apart, aided by some delicious scones and coffee. They will have no idea how much their help made their day . Their kindness will not be forgotten by us.
Came here on two separate occasions and loved it both times and will definitely be back again. Desserts here are to die for, the pavlova is probably the best pavlova I have ever had. Salads are really fresh and flavourful! After a busy morning from work I stopped here for some food, due to an issue there was no lunch going on that day however the lady kindly offered me a savoury scone that they had left and it was really delicious. Best savoury scone I’ve had, soft inside and a slight crisp on the outside. Would definitely recommend stopping for lunch or an afternoon tea and then going for a walk around the park!!
There’s nothing better than enjoying a stroll in the park and then stopping by this cafe for a coffee. The ambiance is truly unmatched—surrounded by greenery, the sound of birds chirping, and a great cup of coffee in hand. The staff are warm and welcoming, and the desserts and pastries are absolutely delicious! I love the concept of having a cafe right in the heart of a park—it’s such a unique and peaceful experience.
